ROBOTICS

Train in simulation. Run on the robot.

Workstations, training servers and edge AI systems for robot simulation, learning and on-device perception.

The constraint

A robot can't wait on a network round-trip to decide whether to stop, so perception and control run on the machine itself. Training the policies behind it is the opposite problem: thousands of simulated episodes and large vision models that need serious GPU time. Robotics teams need both ends, connected.

Workloads

Simulation & synthetic data

Run physics simulation in tools such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim to test robots and generate labelled training images before any hardware moves.

Robot learning

Train reinforcement-learning and imitation-learning policies across many parallel simulated environments.

On-robot perception

Run detection, segmentation and depth models on the device, with no dependency on the network.

Language-driven task planning

Run compact language and vision-language models locally, so robots take instructions and call tools without a cloud round-trip.

FAQs

What GPU do I need for Isaac Sim?

Isaac Sim depends on RTX ray-tracing hardware, so it needs an NVIDIA RTX-class GPU, and GPU memory sets how complex a scene you can run. Teams training at scale usually pair simulation workstations with a multi-GPU server for parallel training.

Can we run a language model on the robot itself?

Small and quantised models can run on embedded GPU modules. Larger models usually run on an edge server in the same cell or building, which still avoids a trip to the cloud.

How do simulation and real-world data fit together?

A common loop is to train in simulation, fine-tune on real data from the fleet, and retrain as new edge cases appear. Owning both ends keeps that loop fast and the data private.

Tell us what the robot needs to see and do. We'll build the stack behind it.
