Run reservoir and seismic jobs before the next shift.
GPU clusters, storage and interpretation workstations for seismic imaging, reservoir simulation and energy-transition engineering.
The constraint
Seismic surveys produce datasets measured in terabytes, and imaging methods such as reverse time migration and full-waveform inversion grow with every step up in resolution. Moving that data to a cloud region is slow and costly, and licence terms or data rules often block it anyway. The compute has to sit next to the storage.
Workloads
Seismic processing & imaging
Run reverse time migration and full-waveform inversion on GPU nodes sized to survey volume and target resolution.
Reservoir simulation
Run GPU-accelerated reservoir simulators for history matching and ensemble forecasts, with more scenarios in the same window.
CFD & FEA
Model wind farms, turbines, pipelines and plant equipment at mesh resolutions a workstation can't hold.
Climate & earth modelling
Run weather, climate and geophysical models on owned nodes for siting and risk studies.
AI-assisted interpretation
Train and run fault and horizon detection models on your own survey data.
Systems
- GLabs GPU Servers — compute nodes for imaging, simulation and model training.
- GLabs Vault — seismic and model data stored next to the compute that reads it.
- GLabs AI Workstations — interpretation and visualisation seats for geoscientists.

FAQs
Do reservoir simulators run on GPUs?
Several commercial and open-source reservoir simulators now offer GPU solvers, and most modern seismic imaging codes run on GPUs. Speed-up depends on the code, the model size and the licence. We size nodes to the software you actually run.
How much storage does a seismic processing cluster need?
It depends on survey size, how many processing versions you keep, and scratch space for imaging jobs, which can exceed the input data. We plan capacity and throughput together, so storage keeps the GPUs busy.
Can the same system support energy-transition work?
Yes. A cluster that runs reservoir models can also run CFD for wind, carbon storage simulation and grid studies. Most of the software stack carries over.
Do we have to move our data off-site?
No. The system is installed on your premises, next to your data, and stays under your control.
Tell us your survey size and solver. We'll size the cluster.
